I completed my primary and secondary education in İzmir. I completed my medical education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1988. I did my specialty education at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of ENT Diseases. In order to increase my knowledge and experience during my specialty education, I was at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty ENT Department for different times and periods and participated in clinical studies.

After working at Kütahya State Hospital for eight months since I received my specialization in 1994, I was appointed as an assistant professor to Süleyman Demirel University ENT Diseases Department in December 1994.

I worked on head and neck cancers for six months in Istanbul Medical Faculty, ENT Department. I got the title of associate professor in 1997. In 1998, the Netherlands Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen Faculty of Medical Sciences, ENT Department Prof.Dr. I worked as an observer and researcher on ear surgery under the supervision of P. Van den Broek. I received the title of professor in the Department of ENT Diseases of Süleyman Demirel University in 2003.

In 2005, I was appointed as the founding chief of the Ministry of Health Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital ENT Diseases Clinic. I worked in the same clinic as the Chief of the Clinic until 2011. During my time as a faculty member and clinical chief at the university, I took part in the education and training of many assistants and students, as well as providing health services to my patients.
